A 1901 map shows a milestone on what is now the B4368 near Anchor Bridge, between Anchor and New Cwm Farm, marking the distance to Newtown 8 1/2 miles, Knighton 13 miles.
The Anchorage is just a few yards off the B4368 at Anchor, on the road towards Beguildy.
New Cwm Farm is just over the Welsh border, a short distance off the B4368, between Clun and Kerry (Ceri). From Anchor, take the B4368 approximately one mile towards Kerry, and turn left at an unmarked lane. New Cwm Farm is the first driveway on the right.
