Bring your horse on holiday to the Welsh/Shropshire borders! Outriding is second to none, and the local lanes are very quiet. Enjoy exhilarating gallops over acres of common land, or quiet hacking through forestry and savour the breathtaking views.

Guided rides are available if required, to make the most of your stay with us.

Both New Cwm Farm and The Anchorage are graded by the British Horse Society as Horses Welcome Approved Establishments, offering excellent standards as well as a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

All stables have rubber mat floors with shavings provided and are clean and comfortable for your horse.

New Cwm Farm has twelve well built stables with electric light and power. The yard is equipped with a wash down area and mounting block. There is ample level parking space should guests wish to stay in their lorry, and an electricity supply can be provided. There are also modern toilet and shower facilities for guests.

For guests at The Anchorage there are individual stables and corrals adjacent to the human accommodation, and a shower room and laundry/drying/freezer room on site.

Alternatively we can offer grazing if preferred, in well fenced safe, sheltered paddocks, with a good water supply.

New Cwm Farm has a large outdoor ménage complete with a set of jumps and dressage markers, which guests at both establishments are welcome to use free of charge.
