New Cwm Farm
New Cwm Farm, the most northerly occupied house in Radnorshire, Wales, is one mile west of Anchor, on the edge of both common land and forestry. The house dates back to 1810 and has been extended several times over the years. The present owners have sympathetically restored and modernised the old cottage to provide two cosy and comfortable self-catering holiday cottages, both with stunning views.
Both cottages are well insulated, with double-glazed doors and windows and have central heating throughout, and broadband is available. Luxurious towels, terry towelling slippers, and bed linen are provided, together with a selection of toiletries. The fully equipped kitchens include microwave, electric cooker and washer/dryer, and electricity is included in the price.
Contact us for New Cwm Farm reservations. New Cwm Farm makes an ideal base for exploring the area on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, or by car. And there is a delightful garden in which to relax.
Visit Wales has awarded New Cwm Farm both “Walkers Welcome” and “Cyclists Welcome” gradings. This means we offer facilities especially tailored to outdoor people’s needs, such as a drying room, secure storage for bicycles, etc. Groceries can be delivered prior to your arrival, and “breakfast in a basket” can be provided, as well as packed lunches.
We can transport guests to the local CamRA hostelry or to the Radnorshire Arms in Beguildy or the Kerry Lamb in Kerry for an evening meal, or indeed take your luggage on to your next port of call.
