Holidays
Stay with us and enjoy
the peace and tranquility of the
mid-Wales/Shropshire border.
Situated on the mid-Wales/Shropshire border, these two properties make an ideal base for exploring the area on foot, by bicycle, on horseback or by car.
The self-catering accommodations are supplied with bed linen and luxurious towels. Breakfast-in-a-basket can be provided, as well as packed lunches. Groceries can be ordered at the time of reservation and delivered ready for your arrival. Pub meals are available nearby.
The Anchorage
The Anchorage is at the head of the Clun Valley, next to the old Anchor Inn, on the England/Wales border, and now is an ideal opportunity to meet the locals over a quiet drink in the evening. There are two static caravans each with ample parking and a private patio from which to enjoy the spectacular views across pastures down the Clun Valley.

New Cwm Farm
New Cwm Farm, the most northerly occupied house in Radnorshire, Wales, is one mile west of Anchor, on the edge of both common land and forestry. The house dates back to 1810 and has been extended over the years. The present owners have sympathetically restored and modernised the old cottage to provide two cosy and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodations, both with stunning views.
The two self-catering accommodations have star grading from Visit Wales (formerly the Wales Tourist Board), and have central heating, shower rooms and fully equipped kitchens. Four star Oak Cottage on ground floor has disabled access, and upstairs, three star Sycamore Cottage is suitable for a single person or a couple. There is a south facing terrace with patio furniture, and a delightful garden in which to relax.
